Terms of Service

1. The service

Coach Harvey is an AI-powered golf coaching service. You upload swing videos, we extract pose data, send it to Claude (Anthropic’s reasoning model), and return one coaching directive plus telemetry. The service is currently free during our launch period. Pricing may change in the future, and we’ll give you reasonable notice before that happens.

2. Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Coach Harvey. If you’re under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission.

3. Acceptable use

When using Coach Harvey, you agree not to:

• Upload videos of people without their permission. Only upload swings of yourself, or of someone who has agreed to be coached.
• Upload content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, or designed to harm others.
• Try to break, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
• Use the service to build a competing product.
• Share your account with others or resell access.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of every swing video you upload. By uploading, you grant Coach Harvey a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and analyze that content for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not use your swing videos to train third-party AI models. You can delete your swings at any time from your account.

5. AI coaching disclaimer

Coach Harvey uses AI to generate swing analysis and coaching advice. The output is informational and is not professional coaching, medical, or physical therapy advice. AI can be wrong. Use your judgment. If you experience pain or injury, stop and consult a qualified professional. Coach Harvey is not a substitute for a PGA professional, a sports physician, or a physical therapist.

6. No warranty

Coach Harvey is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do our best to make it accurate and reliable, but we don’t guarantee that the analysis is correct, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that any particular fault will be detected. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Coach Harvey will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues — whether incurred directly or indirectly — arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) US $50.

8. Termination

You can stop using Coach Harvey and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if we’re required to by law. After termination, the sections that should reasonably survive (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will continue to apply.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If the changes are material, we’ll update the effective date at the top of this page and, when appropriate, notify you by email. Continuing to use the service after the changes means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that can’t be resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California, USA.
